Pater Severin Meadowsweet Spray is a dietary supplement for oral use, based on an ancient monastic recipe. It is made from a 100 per cent aqueous/alcoholic extract of meadowsweet.
In folk medicine, meadowsweet has long been used as a diuretic, a diaphoretic and for the treatment of muscular and joint rheumatism, as well as for gout. The plant is said to have anti-inflammatory, astringent and antipyretic properties. Meadowsweet is said to have particularly beneficial effects on colds and mild aching limbs.
