Father Severin Mace Spray, 50 ml

Product information "Father Severin Mace Spray"

Pater Severin Nutmeg Blossom Spray is a dietary supplement for oral use, based on an ancient monastic recipe. It is made from a 100 per cent aqueous/alcoholic extract of nutmeg blossoms.

The nutmeg tree (Myristica fragrans), which belongs to the nutmeg family (Myristicaceae), is a bushy, evergreen tree that grows up to 12 metres tall, bears yellow fruits, each containing a single seed encased in a bright red, fleshy aril. This aril is also known as mace or nutmeg blossom. When dried or ground, the aril is used to flavour pastries, meat dishes and certain types of sausage, and is said to aid digestion, particularly in cases of gastrointestinal problems.
