Lycopodium, also known as snake moss, witch's weed or devil's claw, belongs to the Lycopodiaceae family. The spores of lycopodium contain a fine, pale yellow, tasteless spore dust, popularly known as witch's flour, which is commonly used for bladder complaints, cramps, diarrhoea, rheumatism and gout, but also for painful urination.
