Lycopodium clavatum is a member of the Lycopodium family (Lycopodiaceae). It is also known as witch's weed or snake moss. Lycopodium contains alkaloids, flavonoids and triterpenes, among other things. Lycopodium has positive effects against urinary disorders, gout and rheumatism, constipation and haemorrhoids and is also used to treat liver disorders.
