Father Severin Kidney Vetch Drops, 50 ml

Product information "Father Severin Kidney Vetch Drops"
Father Severin’s Kidney Vetch Flower Drops are a dietary supplement for oral use, based on an old monastic recipe. They are made from a 100 per cent aqueous/alcoholic extract of kidney vetch flowers.

Kidney vetch, also known as woundwort or fir vetch, has the botanical name Anthyllis vulneraria. It is an important forage plant; however, its use in folk medicine stems from its high content of saponins and tannins. Traditional areas of application were, as the name suggests, wounds, but also the stomach, intestines and lungs. It is also telling that the plant is known by one of its many folk names as ‘apothecary clover’.
