Father Severin’s Iris Root Drops are a dietary supplement for oral use. The iris root drops contain a high-quality aqueous/alcoholic extract of iris root.

The violet root, also known as iris root or tooth root, belongs to the iris family (Iridaceae). As well as having a pain-relieving effect, the root is also said to have an expectorant effect. In folk medicine, preparations made from the root are used primarily as a flavouring, expectorant and mucilaginous agent for colds. It is also said to have beneficial effects on bronchitis, bronchial asthma, poor circulation, flatulence, headaches, migraines and inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract.

Adults: Take 10–20 drops diluted in a glass of water 2–3 times a day as required.

Composition: Iris root drops contain a high-quality aqueous/alcoholic extract of iris root. The extract is produced in a 1:5 ratio in accordance with the specifications of the Pharmacopoeia. Alcohol content: 66 % vol.
