Father Severin’s Harpagophytum Spray is a dietary supplement for oral use, based on an ancient monastic recipe. It is made from a high-quality aqueous/alcoholic extract of devil’s claw.
Harpagophytum (Harpagophytum procumbens) belongs to the Sesamum family (Pedaliaceae). The plant has a beneficial effect on rheumatism, joint inflammation and arthritis. Harpagosides and other valuable compounds (flavonoids) found in the root also have a beneficial effect on the musculoskeletal system, as well as on the digestive tract. The plant is therefore said to possess anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving and appetite-stimulating properties.
