Pater Severin Green Tea Spray is a dietary supplement for oral use, based on an ancient monastic recipe. It is made from a 100 per cent aqueous/alcoholic extract of green tea.
The tea plant has been cultivated in China for several thousand years. The plant’s key constituents include numerous vitamins, minerals, tannins, caffeine and catechins. Catechins are credited with most of the tea’s health-promoting properties. Catechins are also responsible for the bitter taste of the tea. As well as having a positive effect on the cardiovascular system, green tea is also said to possess antioxidant properties. The tannins it contains help to soothe an upset stomach and digestive tract.
