Pater Severin Goldmohn Spray is a dietary supplement for oral use, based on an old monastic recipe. It is made from a 100 per cent aqueous/alcoholic extract of golden poppy.
The golden poppy (Eschscholzia californica) is also known as Eschscholtzia. The golden poppy mainly contains alkaloids and essential oil. The herb is said to have calming and sleep-inducing properties. Indigenous peoples used the golden poppy as a sedative, sleep aid and painkiller.
