St. Severin Frankincense Cream is characterised by its unmistakable aroma: Its earthy, warm, smoky fragrance provides a pleasant body odour and balances the body's own excessive reactions. St Severin Frankincense Cream is also a blessing for strained backs and joints. Frankincense has a long tradition: it has been used in Indian Ayurveda for over 5000 years. According to this, incense is said to have a harmonising effect on the human energy cycle. In addition to essential oils and tannins, frankincense resin primarily contains resin acids (boswellic acids).

Incense, worked into an ointment base of lanolin, olive oil, black cumin oil, marigold oil, tea tree oil, rosemary oil, menthol and camphor, is suitable for all skin types, but especially for dry and flaky skin, which is gently and sustainably moisturised by the cream perfume. The spicy-balsamic base note of St. Severin Frankincense Cream thus ensures cosiness. The air-dried resin of the Indian frankincense tree (Boswellia serrata) is used in St Severin Frankincense Cream. This extract has a high proportion of boswellic acids (at least 85%) and is therefore of particularly high quality.
