The Pater Severin Erika Flower Spray is a dietary supplement made according to an old monastery recipe for ingestion. It is made from a 100 % aqueous/alcoholic extract of erica flowers.
The whole calyxes of the heather are found in western Europe and favour acidic, highly permeable soils. The ingredients of erica flowers include arbutin, enzymes, flavone glycosides, tannins, saponins and minerals. Erica flowers can have positive effects on rheumatism and gout, colds, bladder and kidney stones, eczema of the skin, gastrointestinal complaints and liver and bile disorders. Erika blossom is also said to have positive properties for depressive moods, nervous restlessness and sleep disorders.
