Cayenne pepper (Capsicum) belongs to the Solanaceae (nightshade) family. Both the fruits and the seeds are characterised by a burning hot taste. The dried, ripe fruits, whose main ingredient is capsaicin, are used. Cayenne pepper, incorporated into an ointment base, soothes strained muscles, nerves and joints.

- Massage into the skin. Massage into the skin for strong warming. Loosens and relaxes muscles, beneficial for joints.
- Notes: When using cayenne pepper, signs such as burning, heat development and reddening of the skin occur, which disappear again after the end of the treatment. Cayenne pepper ointment should not be combined with other topical medicines. Do not apply to eyes or mucous membranes. Only use on intact skin. Wash hands well after rubbing in the ointment. Keep out of the reach of children at room temperature. Do not use in case of inflammation.
