Father Severin Calendula-Hamamelis Cream, 100 G

Pater Severin Calendula and Witch Hazel Cream nourishes and soothes the skin with natural ingredients. Carefully produced according to an old monastic recipe.

Witch hazel water, combined with calendula, has cell-renewing, astringent and anti-inflammatory properties. Both ingredients help wounds to heal more quickly and leave a better-looking scar. Dexpanthenol and allantoin help to maintain the skin’s protective function. Due to its astringent, anti-inflammatory, cell-proliferating and local haemostatic properties, Calendula and Witch Hazel Cream can be used externally to treat minor superficial wounds. 

The rich ointment bases also supply the skin with moisture and lipids, thereby enhancing its barrier function. Calendula and Witch Hazel Cream can also be used as a complementary treatment for varicose veins. The cream’s astringent properties strengthen the vein walls and improve blood circulation.

Directions for use

• For minor superficial wounds, it is recommended to apply a thin layer of the ointment several times a day.
• Notes: Shelf life after opening: 12 months. Discontinue use immediately if skin irritation occurs. Avoid contact with the eyes or mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children and store at room temperature. This ointment contains calendula. It should not be used if you have a known hypersensitivity to composite flowers (such as arnica, yarrow or camomile).
