Cajeput has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for several centuries. The plant belongs to the myrtle family (Myrtaceae). Cajeput oil has become indispensable in the treatment of colds and muscle complaints. The plant contains cineole, which helps to clear the airways in the case of colds. When applied to the chest area, the essential oils help to loosen stubborn mucus in the bronchial tubes and sinuses. Cineole promotes blood circulation and can therefore alleviate muscle, joint and visual complaints.

- Advice: Only use on intact skin, do not apply to mucous membranes, open wounds or eyes. Do not use in case of known allergies to essential oils.
