Product information "Father Severin Breast Tea Syrup"
Pater Severin Chest Syrup is produced according to an old monastic recipe and contains the soothing properties of liquorice root, marshmallow leaf, marshmallow root, mullein flower, mallow flower, thyme and aniseed.
St. Severin herbal syrups meet the highest standards and are of exceptional quality. A syrup is defined as an aqueous, sweet preparation for oral consumption that has a viscous, thick consistency. We carefully incorporate various extracts, herbal infusions and other ingredients into our syrups, which are based on table sugar (sucrose) and water.
Syrups were used from early on to balance the body’s humours. They are still used today when the respiratory tract or digestive system needs support. The sugar soothes the throat, helps maintain balanced mucous membranes in the throat and digestive tract, and can mask the unpleasant taste of the other ingredients.
The carefully selected and blended roots, herbs, seeds and flowers in the Chest Tea Syrup soothe the mouth, throat and gastrointestinal tract, and clear the airways.
