This broad-leaved lavender species grows spontaneously in the mountainous regions of the Mediterranean. However, its ingredients differ significantly from the real "fine lavender". The main ingredients are 1.8 cineole and a relatively high camphor content. This makes the essential oil of spikenard more suitable as an additive for stimulating and invigorating massages and for sports oils. Avoid during pregnancy, not for small children
