"Keeping evil away" is the direct translation of the Malagasy name Mandravasarotra, abbreviated to Saro. In many ways, the highly effective essential oil saro is comparable to ravintsara, and like ravintsara, it originates from Madagascar. Its spectrum of effects is even broader, its fragrance is warmer, softer and has a beneficial effect on the psyche. It stimulates the body's defences, helps with winter ailments and exhaustion and is beneficial for the nervous system. It is also uplifting and mood-enhancing on a psychological level.
