‘Keep evil at bay’ is the direct translation of the Malagasy name Mandravasarotra, abbreviated to Saro. In many respects, the highly effective essential oil Saro is comparable to Ravintsara, and like it, it originates from Madagascar. Its range of effects is even broader; its scent is warmer, gentler and soothing to the mind. It stimulates the body’s own defences, helps with winter ailments and exhaustion, and is soothing for the nervous system. On a psychological level, too, it is uplifting and mood-enhancing. Not suitable for children under 6 years of age, pregnant women or people with epilepsy.
