Like lemongrass and citronella, palmarosa belongs to the grass family. Unfortunately, due to its high geraniol content, the essential oil is also misused to adulterate rose oil. The scent of organic palmarosa has a certain allure; it soothes, relaxes and revitalises. An excellent essential oil for skincare and as a bath additive.
