Farfalla’s lemon essential oil is a 100% natural, organic product from certified organic cultivation. It is characterised by its fresh, lemony scent and its wide range of uses.

The slightly tart and crisp scent of lemon has a refreshing, invigorating and uplifting effect when you’re feeling low or lacking in energy; it lifts your spirits and brings clarity. Like all citrus oils, lemon essential oil encourages communication and loosens the tongue. Ideal for travelling, for freshening the air in hotel rooms, cars, etc., and for focused work. Lemon is also popular in skincare recipes as it helps keep the skin looking young – for this purpose, the ‘low furocoumarin’ variety of lemon is recommended, as it is less photosensitising.

• Apply a few drops to a scent diffuser, e.g. a scent stone or similar.
• For use in aromatherapy, particularly during sensitive life stages (children, pregnancy, breastfeeding, the elderly, pre-existing conditions), consult specialist literature for the appropriate choice of oil and various methods of application. Essential oils are highly concentrated substances; therefore, caution is advised for those prone to migraines or epilepsy, as well as for young children, and when using them to scent a room where pets are present. Individual components may cause skin irritation; therefore, always dilute the oils and avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
