The best-known essential oil amongst the more than 500 different species of eucalyptus is extracted from the ‘blue-leaved’ eucalyptus tree, which grows to a height of up to 90 metres in its native Australia. Eucalyptus globulus is notable for its very high content of 1,8-cineole. A typical essential oil for winter and the sauna, it is highly air-purifying, refreshing and invigorating.

• For room fragrance and personal aromatherapy.
• For use in aromatherapy, particularly during sensitive life stages (children, pregnancy, breastfeeding, the elderly, pre-existing conditions), consult specialist literature for the appropriate oil selection and various methods of application. Essential oils are highly concentrated substances; therefore, caution is advised for those prone to migraines or epilepsy, as well as for young children, and when using them to fragrance rooms where pets are present. Individual components may cause skin irritation; therefore, always dilute the oils and avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
• Warnings: Danger. Flammable liquid and vapour. Causes skin irritation. May cause an allergic skin reaction. May be fatal if swallowed and enters the respiratory tract. Toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. If medical advice is needed, have the container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Read all instructions carefully and follow them. IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CENTRE or doctor. DO NOT induce vomiting. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove any contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
• Notes: Avoid use during pregnancy. Not suitable for infants and children under 6 years of age. Use with caution in children with spastic respiratory conditions.
