FIT® Therapy Period Patches are a medical device. The infrared patches do not contain any medicinal substances. Instead, a special mineral coating (titanium compounds) reflects the infrared rays emitted by your body.

The FIT® Therapy Period Patch is a patch featuring FIR (Far Infrared) technology, which reflects the body’s own infrared radiation. The FIT patch contains minerals (titanium compounds) and is made from 100% polypropylene non-woven fabric. Scientific studies based on spectroscopy have shown that a special mineral composition (metal dioxide) in powder form, known as AT5.05, is capable of reflecting far-infrared (FIR) rays. This technology is used on the human body to reflect the infrared rays emitted by the body, thereby producing positive effects on the organism.

How quickly does the Period Patch work?

You may notice an initial improvement after just a few minutes, and it will take effect within 24 hours at the latest. For best results: apply the patch 2 days before your period starts!

Usage

For the treatment of period pain:

Peel the FIT patch off the protective film.
Apply the two oval plasters to the area around the ovaries and the curved plaster to the lower back (lumbar spine, L3) on clean, dry and hair-free skin.
Wait for about two minutes, moving around gently, to ensure the patch adheres completely.
Leave the patches on the skin for up to 5 days.
Continue treatment until symptoms improve.

The patch remains effective even when wet (e.g. whilst showering).

Notes: Do not apply the patch to wounds, damaged or reddened areas of skin.
