The FELIWAY® Classic Starter Set consists of a diffuser and a 48 ml refill bottle. The scent helps to reduce stress-related behaviour – for a relaxed home. One refill bottle lasts for approximately 30 days.
Cats communicate via natural chemical signals in the air, known as pheromones. They release these signals through various parts of their bodies, such as their paws, face and chest.
When cats are relaxed and happy, they mark their surroundings as ‘familiar’. They rub their heads against corners, furniture, people and other cats in the home. In doing so, they leave behind ‘relaxation messages’ to signal to themselves and others that everything is fine.
Unfortunately, our hectic daily lives do not always meet the needs of our feline friends, which is why some cats feel stressed and uncomfortable. They then stop marking their home with ‘relaxation messages’ and instead hide away or mark their territory by scratching or urinating.
By emitting ‘calming messages’, FELIWAY® helps cats to feel relaxed and safe in their home again and to cope better with stressful situations. In this way, FELIWAY® contributes to your cat’s wellbeing whilst helping to reduce and put an end to hiding, scratching and urine marking.
The FELIWAY Classic diffuser gives your cat a sense of safety and security at home. This can prevent or put an end to stress-related behaviours such as:

- Scratching
- Hiding
- Reactions to change

Good to know
- 1 diffuser for up to 70 m² of living space.
- To ensure the vaporiser works optimally, it should not be placed under a shelf, behind doors, curtains or furniture, or near the cat’s litter tray.
Form
1 x evaporator + 1 refill bottle (48 ml each)
Directions for use
- Plug the diffuser into a socket. To keep your cats relaxed, leave the diffuser plugged in round the clock.
- Replace the bottle every 30 days or as required.
- The diffuser should be used continuously for at least 30 days.
- Use the FELIWAY® Classic diffuser continuously to create a lasting sense of well-being. After 30 days, the bottle will be empty and should be replaced with a refill bottle.
- Check the diffuser every month and replace it with a new FELIWAY® Classic Starter Kit after a maximum of 6 months.
- Plug the diffuser into a socket in the room where your cat spends most of its time.
- To ensure the diffuser works effectively, it should not be placed behind doors, under curtains or shelves, or near the litter tray.
- For rooms larger than70 m², we recommend using an additional diffuser.
- Warnings: May be fatal if swallowed or if it enters the respiratory tract. If medical advice is required, have the packaging or label to hand. Keep out of reach of children. Read all instructions carefully and follow them. IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON INFORMATION CENTRE or a doctor. Do NOT induce vomiting. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local and national regulations.
