The FELIWAY Classic sprays can be used for relaxation when travelling and also as additional support at home:

  • Transport in the cat box
  • visits to the vet
  • Targeted use on spots, urine marking or scratch marks

Does your cat show signs of stress and discomfort in the car, such as meowing, restlessness, vomiting, urinating or defecating?

FELIWAY® Classic Spray prevents stress when travelling by car and helps your cat to relax. Spray FELIWAY® Classic Spray into the transport box 15 minutes before setting off to make the journey easier for your cat. Does your cat pee against furniture and walls in the house or scratch furniture, walls and sofas? Spray the affected areas daily to prevent renewed marking.

How FELIWAY® Classic Spray works

Cats communicate via natural messenger substances in the air, so-called pheromones. They spread these messages via various parts of the body, e.g. the paws, face and chest area.

When cats are relaxed and happy, they mark their surroundings as 'familiar'. They rub their heads against corners, furniture, people and other cats at home. In doing so, they leave 'relaxation messages', signalling to themselves and others that everything is fine.

Unfortunately, our hectic everyday lives do not always meet the needs of our furry friends, which is why some cats feel stressed and uncomfortable. They then stop marking their home with "relaxation messages" and instead hide or secure their territory by scratching or urine marking.

With FELIWAY® Classic Spray, you can send "relaxation messages" to your cat so that it can feel relaxed and safe in its home again. In this way, you contribute to your cat's well-being and can reduce or stop signs of stress such as hiding, scratching and urine marking.

How to use
  • On the road: Spray FELIWAY® Classic Spray on blankets, towels, the inside of the transport box and/or the inside of the car approx. 15 minutes before departure.
  • At home: If marking behaviour, such as urine marking or scratching, is already occurring, clean the affected area thoroughly. Spray FELIWAY® Classic Spray once a day on the areas where your cat scratches or urine marks (e.g. couch, doors, walls, etc.) to prevent re-marking.
  • The spray can also be used on new furniture to prevent scratching or urine marking.
Application time:

  • On the road: Spray the FELIWAY® Classic Spray into the transport box 15 minutes before departure and repeat the application every 4-5 hours (cat must not be in the transport box during application!).
  • At home: Re-spray the affected areas daily until your cat no longer marks or scratches.
