FELIWAY® Classic Spray helps prevent stress during car journeys and helps your cat to relax. Spray FELIWAY® Classic Spray into the carrier 15 minutes before setting off to make the journey easier for your cat.
Does your cat urinate on furniture and walls in the house, or scratch furniture, walls and the sofa?
Reapply the spray to the affected areas daily to prevent further marking.
How FELIWAY® Classic Spray works
Cats communicate via natural chemical signals in the air, known as pheromones. They release these signals through various parts of their body, such as their paws, face and chest.
When cats are relaxed and happy, they mark their surroundings as ‘familiar’. They rub their heads against corners, furniture, people and other cats in the home. In doing so, they leave ‘calming messages’ to signal to themselves and others that everything is fine.
Unfortunately, our hectic daily lives do not always meet the needs of our feline friends, which is why some cats feel stressed and uncomfortable. They then stop marking their home with ‘relaxation messages’ and instead hide or mark their territory by scratching or urinating.
With FELIWAY® Classic Spray, you can send ‘calming messages’ to your cat so that it can feel relaxed and safe in its home again. In this way, you contribute to your cat’s wellbeing and can reduce or stop signs of stress, such as hiding, scratching and urine marking.

Directions for use
- When travelling: Spray FELIWAY® Classic Spray onto blankets, towels, the inside of the carrier and/or the interior of the car, approximately 15 minutes before setting off.
- At home: If marking behaviour, such as urine marking or scratching, is already occurring, clean the affected area thoroughly. Spray FELIWAY® Classic Spray once a day onto the areas where your cat scratches or marks with urine (e.g. sofas, doors, walls, etc.) to prevent further marking.
- The spray can also be used on new furniture to prevent scratching or urine marking.
Duration of use:
- When travelling: Spray FELIWAY® Classic Spray into the carrier 15 minutes before setting off and repeat the application every 4–5 hours (the cat must not be in the carrier whilst the spray is being applied!).
- At home: Reapply the spray to the affected areas daily until your cat stops marking or scratching there.
