The ERAPROTECT® protective stick against cold sores is a medical device to protect against cold sores (herpes labialis) caused by sun exposure.
ERAPROTECT® can be used daily, especially when exposed to sunlight. The effect of ERAPROTECT® is based on a UVA and UVB filter. ERAPROTECT® has a sun protection factor of 30 and protects the sensitive skin of the lips from UV radiation. In this way, the activation of the virus and thus the reappearance of cold sores can be prevented.

- ERAPROTECT® contains echinacea and L-lysine, which help to strengthen the skin's defences. The other ingredients are plant extracts and oils that nourish and moisturise the lips.
Dosage form
How to use
- Use the stick several times a day (three to six times) by applying it to the entire lip area. Repeat the application every hour if you are exposed to intense sunlight.
- ERAPROTECT® is used to prevent cold sores caused by sunlight.
- The effect of ERAPROTECT® is based on a UVA and UVB filter. ERAPROTECT® has a sun protection factor of 30 and protects the sensitive skin of the lips from UV radiation. In this way, the activation of the virus and thus the reappearance of cold sores can be prevented.
- Note: Cold sores are highly contagious. You should therefore never give your ERAPROTECT® stick to other people to use, even if they also suffer from cold sores.
