Embamed® chamomile oil is obtained by steam distillation from the flowers of common chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla). The oil’s vibrant blue colour develops during the distillation process. Since ancient times, chamomile oil has been used to treat skin problems as well as respiratory, stomach and intestinal complaints.
