How to use
- The contents of one sachet (one sachet contains 4.13 g of powder mixture) are dissolved in 200 ml of boiled, cooled water or tea and drunk warm or cold. The individual duration of use depends on the doctor's instructions.
- Children from 3 years of age, adolescents and adults: Drink the contents of the sachet dissolved in 200 ml of liquid several times a day as required. Adults can drink up to 4 litres of Elytro throughout the day in case of severe diarrhoea. This corresponds to 20 sachets.
Ingredients
- Ingredients: Dextrose, table salt, sodium citrate, potassium chloride, sweeteners acesulfame K and aspartame. The mineral content has been adjusted to the required osmolarity. "Contains per sachet salt: 0.52 g (of which sodium 320 mg)". Contains a source of phenylalanine.
- Nutritional declaration per 100 g: energy 1111 kJ/261.5 kcal, fat 0 g - saturated fatty acids 0 g, carbohydrates 65.38 g (5.3 BE) - of which sugar 65.38 g (5.3 BE), protein 0 g, salt 12.6 g, sodium 7748 mg, potassium 3874 mg, chloride 11138 mg, lactose 0 mg, gluten 0 mg.
- Electrolyte content of the finished solution (200 ml): Na+ 75 mmol/l, K+ 20 mmol/l, Cl- 65 mmol/l, citrate 10 mmol/l, D-glucose 75 mmol/l, osmolarity after preparation: approx. 245 mmol/l.
