How to use
- Adults: Apply a pea-sized piece of Dynexan 1.8 % oral gel (this corresponds to approx. 0.2 g gel or 3.6 mg lidocaine) to the painful areas in the oral cavity 4 to 8 times a day as required. A total dose of 40 mg lidocaine should not be exceeded.
- Use in children and adolescents: For children, infants and babies, use a pea-sized piece a maximum of 4 times a day (dosage should be individualised according to age and weight).
- Children under 3 years of age: The currently available documentation is not sufficient to recommend prolonged use of lidocaine gel in children under 3 years of age.
- Method of application: For application in the oral cavity. Please clean your hands before and after application. Apply the gel in the oral cavity. Massage the gel in gently. If pain occurs when inserting dentures or braces, apply Dynexan 1.8 % Oral Gel thinly to the affected areas. You can increase the adhesion of the gel if you dab the areas to be treated slightly dry beforehand.
