Food supplement from the tree sap "dragon's blood" Croton lechleri resin. The tree species Croton ssp. is native to the rainforests of Central and South America. The ruby-red pith of this plant has been used by the indigenous people for centuries. The valuable ruby-coloured resin contains anti-inflammatory and wound-healing agents. Sangre de Drago, the resin of the dragon's blood tree, is a unique raw material for internal and external use. Apply directly to injuries such as cuts or abrasions. The liquid dries quickly and forms a reddish film. The resin seals the wound like a second skin and protects against the penetration of germs.

The brown-red resin is characterised by a very high OPC content. OPC is the strongest known antioxidant and is contained in 90% of Sangre de Drago resin. The main active ingredient is the resin of the Croton lechleri tree. This plant originates from Latin America, where it has a firm place in traditional medicine. The tree grows to a height of 10-20 metres and despite this considerable size, the trunk is usually no thicker than 30 cm. The individual species of the Croton spp. tree give the world a resin with a ruby colour, the foaming of which is caused by the saponins. Dragon's blood was first "introduced" to Europe around 1600 by the Spanish Jesuit, chronicler and natural scientist Barnabé Coba, who emphasised its use, particularly by the indigenous peoples of Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.

Thanks to its effects, Croton lechleri is one of the most researched plants from South America. This tree has been studied all over the world since the 1960s and its properties have been confirmed in a whole series of studies. In phytotherapy, the bark, leaves, twigs and especially the resin are used, which is tapped from the trees before sunrise. It contains a large amount of antioxidants, alkaloid taspine, tanin and other substances that are responsible for its particularly positive effects.

How to use

• 10 drops, 1-3x daily.
• Increase fluid intake during consumption. Shake before use. Mix the product with approx. 100 ml water and consume half an hour before or after a meal. We recommend taking a one-week break after every three weeks of use.
