Dr Kottas elderflower tea has a pleasant taste and elderflowers are rich in flavonoids. Ideal as a supplement for colds.

The herbal tea is packaged in 20 double-chamber filter bags of 1.2 g, ready to use, with the ingredients and flavour protected.

Elderberry (Flos Sambuci)

Elderberry usually grows to a height of 3 - 4 metres, but can also grow up to 10 metres. It is characterised by its warty, unpleasant-smelling bark and large inflorescences with yellowish-white flowers, which develop into shiny black to black-violet berries in autumn. The main active ingredients of the flowers are essential oils, diaphoretic glycosides and flavonoids.
Effect: Elderflowers have a strong diaphoretic and antipyretic effect and mobilise the body's own defences.

How to use

Pour boiling water over 1 filter bag per cup (125 ml), cover and leave to infuse for 10 minutes. Then squeeze out the filter bag well and drink the tea lukewarm, in sips.
TIP: Enjoy as a refreshing drink with ice cubes.
