Flavochino with bioactive cocoa flavanols
- The content of cocoa flavanols in the cocoa product is decisive for its health-promoting effect. However, up to 98% of the flavanol content is lost during conventional cocoa processing.
- The particularly gentle processing of the cocoa in Dr Jacob's Flavochino preserves the valuable cocoa flavanols, which support a healthy cardiovascular system. A daily portion of Flavochino provides over 200 mg of bioactive cocoa flavanols, which help to maintain the elasticity of the blood vessels and thus normal blood circulation.
- One serving (15 g) of Flavochino contains 1092 mg of total polyphenols (as catechin equivalent), of which 255 mg are bioactive cocoa flavanols.
Cocoa flavour with great antioxidant power
Our Flavochino has a proven high antioxidant capacity. In an analysis of the ORAC value*, our gourmet cocoa achieves a value of 27,000 µmol TE/100 g. In comparison, the antioxidant capacity of an ordinary cocoa mix with 485 µmol TE/ 100 g or a milk chocolate with 1,263 µmol TE/ 100 g is almost negligible. What makes the difference is the high proportion of bioactive cocoa flavanols.

Healthy enjoyment without a guilty conscience
- The minerals potassium and magnesium contained in Flavochino contribute to the normal functioning of the nervous system.
- The lecithin contained in two portions provides enough choline (approx. 84 mg) to support normal fat metabolism and the maintenance of normal liver function.
- Flavochino contains the plant-derived sweetener xylitol, also known as birch sugar. Xylitol provides fewer calories than sugar - for a carefree cocoa flavour. The xylitol contained in Flavochino is obtained from Nordic birch wood.

It unfolds its full-bodied, creamy chocolate flavour best when frothed in a warm soy drink. Flavochino has no added sugar and is only subtly sweetened with birch sugar - so the cocoa flavour really comes into its own!

How to use
- Dissolve 15 g Flavochino (approx. 3 heaped teaspoons) in approx. 50 ml hot water (preferably with a hand milk frother). Then add 150 ml of hot or cold soya drink with calcium and froth everything up well. You can also enjoy Flavochino as a refreshing frappé.
- Ensure a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. May have a laxative effect if consumed in excess.
