Silicon in the body
Silicon is a component of connective and supporting tissue. It is found, for example, in blood vessel walls, cartilage and bones, as well as in the skin, hair and nails. Silicon is also found in every cell of our body, specifically in the mitochondria, the cells’ powerhouses. Silicon has the ability to bind large amounts of water, which in turn benefits the skin and also the elasticity of cartilage, connective tissue and bones.
Colloidal solution
The colloidal form offers the body the best means of absorption. Colloids are liquids in which the substances they contain are finely dispersed and ‘suspended’. Body fluids, such as blood, are also colloids. This form is particularly well understood and utilised by the body. We offer the highest quality with an ultra-finely swirled (dynamised) silicic acid solution containing silicon. To prepare our product, water is distilled three times and, after the silicon has been added, swirled three times. This process guarantees the highest purity and optimal bioavailability.
