Dr Ehrenberger Organic Curcuma Extract forte Capsules are a dietary supplement with organic curcuma extract. Curcuma is a superfood and has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years.

When choosing the right curcuma product, there are two main aspects to consider: the curcumin content and that the full spectrum of curcuma, the curcuma matrix, is contained in its entirety.

Bioavailability of curcuma

Did you know that curcuma is notoriously poorly available? In order to increase the bioavailability of curcuma, three different methods have been developed on the market over the last few decades, which we would like to briefly introduce to you. All three agree on one thing: extracts must be used to obtain enough of the valuable curcuminoids. But not all extracts are the same.

The Curcuma Matrix, for the entourage effect

Cureit ® is the highest quality curcuma extract in the world. It is produced using a special patented process and is the only extract that contains the full curcuma matrix. Studies have shown that when the full matrix is preserved, the highest and also the longest bioavailability is given. In the case of Cureit ®, 37 different types of curcuminoids are preserved. We use this extract specifically in some of our formulations, for example in the Denk fit memory capsules or in the frankincense anti-inflammatory capsules.

Enriched

Curcuma extracts are often enriched with essential oils or other fatty substances. It is then often offered as liposomal curcuma or curcumin. This method also increases the bioavailability of curcuma.

Piperine

Piperine is a pepper extract that is responsible for the pungency of pepper. It is added to curcuma powder in some products. We do not use piperine, as it can interact with allopathic products, and its use in combination with nicotine and alcohol can also be questionable.

Curcuma extract forte

The formula of our Curcuma Extract forte is a combination of an enriched curcuma extract, which is rich in curcumin, in combination with a full spectrum curcuma powder, which contains the entire curcuma matrix. The success of this combination confirms that it works: since its launch, this natural product has become one of our bestsellers!

Directions
Take 3 capsules daily with sufficient liquid. We recommend taking all 3 in the morning and in the evening, or specifically to support the liver. Best taken with meals.

  • Each daily dose (3 capsules) provides 1,200 mg of active plant substances, of which: organic curcuma 600 mg contains curcuminoids 30 mg, organic curcuma extract 600 mg contains curcuminoids 570 mg.
