Dr Ehrenberger Organic Baobab Powder is a natural superfood from Africa that is rich in vitamins, minerals and fibre. It is easy to prepare and can be used in smoothies, yoghurt, muesli or baked goods.
The fruit of the baobab tree dries whilst still on the tree – the tree draws water from the ripe fruit and uses it itself. The rind becomes woody and protects the interior. No further drying involving significant wastage is required, nor is any processing or the addition of any substances! The intact baobab fruits, with their wood-like rind, are microbiologically and chemically stable. In Central Africa, baobab has been an integral part of daily life for thousands of years. Suitable for all ages, including children, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers. Here, the fruit powder – known as ‘pulp’ – is particularly valued for its fibre content.
