Acidosis through diet

There is a certain ratio of acidic and alkaline components in the human organism. Nature reacts naturally with an equalising system (buffer system) to keep acids and bases in balance. However, this system can be under strain if too much acid-forming meat, fat and sugar and too little alkaline-forming foods such as fresh fruit and vegetables are consumed in the diet. The result: the body becomes over-acidified. It is therefore advisable to restore the acid-base balance through targeted nutritional supplementation with selected alkaline minerals and plant substances.

Dr Böhm® Alkaline Plus contains a balanced combination of alkaline mineral salts plus zinc and thus makes a valuable contribution to a balanced acid-base balance. The gastric juice-resistant, tasteless alkaline tablets are an ideal supplement during a detox cure, an alkaline cure or when detoxifying.

Active ingredients

• Alkaline mineral salts: Magnesium makes a valuable contribution to electrolyte balance and reduces tiredness and fatigue. It also supports healthy muscle function as well as normal energy and bone metabolism. Potassium contributes to normal muscle function. Calcium supports normal muscle function and bone health. It also promotes healthy energy metabolism.
• Trace elements: Zinc supports a balanced acid-base metabolism and makes a valuable contribution to a functioning immune system. Oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC) from grape seeds and bioflavonoids from citrus fruits are bioactive protective substances that are used by plants in nature to protect cells. Selenium helps to protect cells from oxidative stress caused by free radicals and supports a normally functioning immune system.

Directions

Take two tablets once or twice a day unchewed with a large glass of water, preferably after a meal. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
