Magnesium for muscles and nerves
The single-serving sachets of Doppelherz system MAGNESIUM CITRATE 400 contribute to normal muscle function through magnesium in citrate form and to the normal function of the nervous system through vitamin B6.
- 400 mg magnesium in organic citrate form
- 5 mg vitamin B6
- 27 mg vitamin C
- Ready-to-drink granules with an orange and pomegranate flavour, to be dissolved
Magnesium in citrate form
The mineral magnesium is present in the Doppelherz system granules in its citrate form. Magnesium citrate is an organic form of magnesium. Magnesium is an essential mineral that the body cannot produce itself. Furthermore, the body can only store it to a limited extent.
Magnesium supports normal energy metabolism and the normal functioning of the nervous system. An adequate supply of magnesium contributes to normal muscle function. The mineral helps maintain electrolyte balance.
- Vitamin B6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism. It also plays a role in the normal functioning of the nervous system.
- Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system and helps to protect cells from oxidative stress.
- In the event of an unbalanced diet or increased nutritional requirements, e.g. due to physical exertion (e.g. sport) or an unhealthy lifestyle (e.g. alcohol consumption), your diet can be specifically supplemented with Doppelherz system MAGNESIUM 400 CITRATE.

Directions for use
- Dissolve 1 sachet once a day in 1 glass of water (approx. 200 ml) and drink. This is recommended when there is an increased need for magnesium due to physical exertion (e.g. sport), particularly if this is accompanied by an unbalanced diet.
- If the diet is simply low in magnesium, it is recommended to dissolve the contents of half a sachet in approx. 100 ml of water and drink it daily.
- Notes: Doses exceeding 250 mg of magnesium may have a laxative effect in sensitive individuals. Not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
