- Horsetail: Horsetails are among the oldest plants in the world. They were already valued by the Greeks and Arabs in ancient times. Today, horsetail is cultivated as a vegetable in Asia.
- Silica: Silica is a naturally occurring substance and contains silicon as a component.
- L-cysteine and L-methionine: L-cysteine is a sulphur-containing amino acid. It is found in particular in the structural protein keratin. L-methionine is also a sulphur-containing amino acid. As the human body cannot produce this amino acid itself, it is dependent on dietary intake. Methionine in turn is used in the body to form cysteine.
- Taurine: Taurine is an aminoethanesulfonic acid. The adult human body can produce taurine itself from the amino acid cysteine and absorb it through food by eating muscle meat and fish. Taurine owes its name to the Greek word "taurus" for "bull", as taurine was first detected in the bile of these animals at the beginning of the 19th century.
- Lignans: Lignans are found in many types of cereals, pulses, vegetables and fruit. Linseed is a good source of lignans.
Dosage form
Directions
- Take one capsule once a day with a main meal and sufficient liquid.
- Advice: Not suitable for children and adolescents. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking products containing lignans from linseed. If you take more than 3.5 mg of zinc per day, you should avoid taking other zinc-containing food supplements. Biotin can have an effect on some laboratory tests, which can lead to falsified results. Therefore, please inform your doctor that you are taking a biotin-containing preparation if you are due to undergo laboratory tests so that he or she can take this into account.
