An optimal supply of vitamins and minerals is an important prerequisite for the well-being and performance of our body.

Magnesium and calcium are two vital minerals that our body needs to activate and maintain numerous biological processes in the body.

Magnesium is a mineral that the body cannot produce itself. In addition, it can only be stored to a limited extent.

A one-sided, unbalanced diet, characterised by frequent fast-food meals and a lack of wholemeal products and vegetables, has an unfavourable effect on the magnesium supply.

Good sources of magnesium include wholemeal cereal products, pulses, many types of vegetables as well as liver, poultry and fish.

Calcium is stored in our bones. The mineral can be released from this storage site when required (e.g. if calcium intake is insufficient). Calcium is therefore active in our body.
