- Collagen is the main component of most connective and supporting tissue and is a fibre component of bones, cartilage and vision.
- Copper contributes to the maintenance of normal connective tissue. The connective tissue forms the supporting and stabilising structures of the body.
- Selenium contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
- Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage and bones. It contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
- Vitamin D plays a role in the maintenance of normal bones and normal muscle function. It also supports the normal function of the immune system.
- Chondroitin sulphate is a substance of animal origin and belongs to the group of glucosamine glycans.
