Doppelherz system GLUCOSAMIN 1200 DUO contains vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin K and the trace elements zinc, copper, manganese and selenium.
It also contains 1200 mg of glucosamine hydrochloride, 200 mg of chondroitin sulphate, 50 mg of hyaluronic acid, and the enzymes bromelain and papain.
The Doppelherz tablet-capsule system consists of an easy-to-swallow tablet and an easy-to-take capsule.
Tablet:
- 1VitaminC contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage and bones.
- Vitamins K and D help maintain normal bones. Vitamin D supports the maintenance of normal muscle function. It contributes to the normal utilisation of calcium and to normal calcium levels in the blood.
- Vitamins E and C help to protect cells from oxidative stress. The tablet also contains 1200 mg of glucosamine hydrochloride. Glucosamine is a structural component of the shells of prawns.
Capsule:
- The trace elements zinc, selenium, manganese and copper help protect cells from oxidative stress.
- Zincand manganese help maintain normal bones. Furthermore, manganese contributes to normal connective tissue formation, whilst copper helps maintain normal connective tissue. Connective tissue refers to the body’s supporting and stabilising structures. Connective tissue gives tendons and ligaments their tensile strength.
- Chondroitin and hyaluronic acid are of animal origin. The enzyme bromelain is derived from pineapple and papain from papaya.
Dosage form

Directions for use
- The daily dose consists of one tablet and one capsule. Take one tablet and one capsule once a day with a meal and plenty of liquid.
- Notes: Consumers with impaired glucose tolerance are advised to monitor their blood sugar levels and insulin requirements. Consumers being treated with coumarin anticoagulants should only use this product after consulting their doctor. Blood clotting should be carefully monitored. Due to a lack of data, pregnant women, breastfeeding women, children and adolescents should refrain from using this product.
