DOUXO® S3 SEB Mousse is a sebum-regulating mousse for dogs and cats with oily and/or flaky skin: it reduces dandruff, excessive sebum production and unpleasant odours. It moisturises and strengthens the skin’s ecosystem.
Indications
Our furry friends can suffer from dry, flaky skin or, conversely, an oily coat. The coat suddenly feels different and sometimes even smells unpleasant. In the case of a condition known as seborrhoea, these symptoms may be accompanied by itching or other secondary conditions that cause discomfort.
Our DOUXO S3 SEB Mousse is not rinsed off after application and remains on the skin to ensure particularly prolonged contact with the active ingredients. It has been specially developed to regulate sebum production, reduce dandruff and strengthen the skin.
Characteristics
Dry, flaky or oily skin are signs of seborrhoea in dogs and cats. This is not a disease, but a symptom whose underlying cause needs to be identified. This could be due, for example, to environmental factors or hereditary causes. Your vet can help you identify the underlying causes in your pet. In addition, our sebum-regulating DOUXO S3 SEB Mousse can help improve the quality of your pet’s coat and restore the skin’s balance.
- Anti-dandruff mousse for dogs and cats: Dandruff in pets is caused by increased cell turnover, with the flakes usually remaining attached to the animal’s coat. DOUXO S3 SEB Mousse has been proven to significantly reduce dandruff.
- Mousse for dogs and cats with seborrhoea: In animals, seborrhoea can manifest itself, amongst other things, as an oily coat, caused by increased sebum production in the sebaceous glands. It has been clinically proven that DOUXO S3 SEB Mousse regulates sebum production and rapidly improves the quality of the coat.
- Mousse for dogs and cats with an unpleasant odour: One cause of unpleasant odours in pets is increased sebum production. This ‘rancid butter’ smell is very unpleasant. DOUXO S3 SEB Mousse has been proven to quickly rid your pet of this unpleasant odour.
- A mousse that restores balance to the skin’s flora: Excessive sebum on the coat provides a perfect breeding ground for microorganisms, such as yeasts, which can cause skin conditions. DOUXO S3 SEB Mousse restores the skin’s balance, thereby preventing microbial overgrowth.

Directions for use
We recommend cleansing the skin of dirt, dandruff and other impurities at the start of treatment. To do this, the use of DOUXO S3 SEB Mousse can be combined with DOUXO S3 SEB Shampoo.
Directions for use:
- Apply to dry, brushed fur. Dispense one or two pumps onto your hand and massage in thoroughly so that the foam reaches the skin. Repeat this until the whole body is covered. The mousse should not come into contact with the eyes or mouth. Do not rinse out; allow to air-dry. Brush the coat afterwards for extra shine.
- For cats or dogs weighing ≤ 6 kg, 1 pump per kg of body weight
- For dogs weighing > 6 kg: 1 pump per 2 kg of body weight
- Double the dosage for dogs with long or thick coats.
