DOUXO® S3 PYO Mousse is an antiseptic mousse for dogs: it cleanses, disinfects, moisturises and strengthens the skin’s ecosystem. It is effective against bacteria and fungi.

Indications

Many situations can compromise the skin’s ecosystem in our pets (e.g. due to allergens, wounds, metabolic disorders, etc.). Pathogenic microorganisms can exploit this, multiply excessively on the skin and trigger skin conditions.

DOUXO S3 PYO Mousse is not rinsed off after application and remains on the skin to ensure particularly prolonged contact with the active ingredients. It has been specially developed to disinfect, soothe and strengthen skin affected by a bacterial and/or yeast-related imbalance, using our carefully selected ingredients.

Features

When the skin’s ecosystem becomes unbalanced (e.g. due to environmental factors or because your pet has a health issue), pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria or yeasts can multiply excessively and cause skin problems. In this case, you should consult your vet, who can make a diagnosis and recommend a suitable treatment. With our DOUXO S3 PYO Mousse, you can disinfect your dog’s skin to restore the balance of the skin microbiota.

Antibacterial mousse with chlorhexidine for dogs: Bacteria live on your dog’s skin, some of which take advantage of a weakened skin ecosystem to multiply excessively and damage the skin. Our antibacterial DOUXO S3 PYO Mousse is clinically proven to help reduce bacterial counts quickly and significantly, thereby promoting healthy skin. As the mousse is not rinsed off after application, the active ingredients remain on the skin and can work to their full potential.
Anti-fungal mousse for dogs: Just like bacteria, fungi – particularly yeasts such as Malassezia – live on the surface of your dog’s skin. If the skin barrier is compromised, they can multiply excessively and cause skin conditions. Our DOUXO S3 PYO Mousse has been proven to significantly reduce the number of yeasts on the skin within seven days.
Moisturising mousse to strengthen the skin barrier: Frequent use of disinfectant skincare products can dry out the skin. The ingredients in our DOUXO S3 PYO Mousse have been carefully formulated to effectively disinfect the skin whilst keeping it moisturised. It also strengthens the skin barrier, which protects your pet from harmful external influences.

Directions for use

We recommend cleansing the skin of dirt, debris and scabs at the start of treatment. To do this, the use of DOUXO S3 PYO Mousse can be combined with DOUXO S3 PYO Shampoo.

Directions for use:

Apply to dry, brushed fur. Dispense one or two pumps onto your hand and massage in thoroughly so that the foam reaches the skin. Repeat this until the whole body is covered. The mousse should not come into contact with the eyes or mouth. Do not rinse off; allow to air-dry. Brush the coat afterwards for extra shine.
For dogs weighing ≤ 6 kg: 1 pump per kg of body weight
For dogs weighing > 6 kg: 1 pump per 2 kg of body weight
Double the dosage for dogs with long or thick coats.

Ingredients

Composition: Ophytrium, chlorhexidine (3%), panthenol, Pentavitin, mild cleansing agents and a hypoallergenic coconut and vanilla fragrance.
