Cutimed® Sorbact® Compress is a primary wound dressing for superficial or deep wounds. Reduces the bacterial count in the wound with each dressing change to create optimal conditions for the natural wound healing process.

Cutimed Sorbact wound dressings are based on Sorbact technology, which is irresistible to wound germs. When the dressing is moist, hydrophobic wound bacteria and fungi are bound by the Sorbact surface through natural interaction and cannot return to the wound bed. Each time the dressing is changed, the bound wound bacteria are removed with the dressing. By reducing the overall bacterial load, contaminated, colonised and infected wounds are cleansed.

Chronic wounds (e.g. venous, arterial or diabetic ulcers and pressure ulcers)
Post-operative wounds and wound dehiscences
Traumatic wounds
Wounds after excision of fistulas and abscesses
Fungal skin infections
Duration of application: Depending on the indication, maximum 3 days
