Cutimed® Acute 5% Urea, 1 ST

Environmental factors such as cold or heat, insufficient fluid intake, but also therapeutic measures can lead to increased moisture loss from the skin. The unpleasant consequence of this loss is dry, flaky or cracked skin, which can become itchy and inflamed. The aim of treatment is to rebalance the skin's natural moisture content and thus improve the patient's general well-being.

Cutimed® ACUTE is a urea-based cream foam that provides medical skin care and protection for highly stressed skin. Two different concentrations of urea provide reliable and effective moisturisation for different skin conditions. The foam formulation is not only beneficial for patients, but also for medical staff. The cream foam is easy to spread, particularly economical, absorbs quickly without leaving any residue and is well compatible with textiles.

All products are also latex-, colourant- and lanolin-free and have been dermatologically tested.

Cutimed® ACUTE is suitable as special care for dry and heavily stressed skin. Cutimed® ACUTE is also ideal for use as medical skin care during compression therapy. Cutimed® ACUTE with a urea concentration of 5 % is suitable for diabetics.
