AQUACEL® Foam consists of a waterproof outer layer made of polyurethane film and a multi-layered, absorbent wound pad. The foam dressing is available in various adhesive and non-adhesive versions. The adhesive variants feature a silicone adhesive border. The multi-layered wound pad consists of a layer of polyurethane foam and a wound-contact layer incorporating Hydrofiber® technology (sodium carboxymethylcellulose).
