Unlike other vitamins, vitamin D can be produced in the skin by healthy people with the help of sunlight. The extent of the body's own vitamin D production is influenced by many factors (taking certain medicines, time of year, skin pigmentation, skin covered with clothing or sunscreen) and decreases with increasing age.
Application:
