A new processing method is used to produce granular mineral composite with a high colloidal content. This means that the well-known healing clay, whose health benefits have always been known, can be used in a completely new and optimised way. The unique selling point of the oral care product is the increased colloidal content in the mineral composite. This is important for the biological effectiveness of the minerals in dental care. The Chitodent® mineral composite for teeth is non-abrasive, alkaline and can rebuild the entire bacterial flora from the throat to the intestine while maintaining a healthy diet. The granular materials used, made from polymeric geo-minerals, have a very high ion exchange capacity. When the mineral composite is applied in the oral cavity, ion exchange can lead to hyperpolarisation of the cell membranes in the oral cavity. An increase in the membrane potential within the physiological control circuit of the cells generally leads to a stimulating effect. This vitalises the oral mucosa, which in turn leads to a strengthening of the immune system.
