Cellacare® Manus Comfort compresses the wrist thanks to the combination of knitted fabric, crescent-shaped silicone pad and stabilising strap. This reduces the tendency to swell. The anatomically shaped splint (which can be thermoplastically adjusted by a specialist if required) stabilises the wrist in a functionally neutral position. When the anatomically shaped splint is removed from the palm of the hand, the focus is on compression and dynamic stabilisation, which is achieved by the stabilisation strap.

How to use

1. Open the stabilising strap before putting on the Cellacare® Manus Comfort. Attach the Velcro fastener directly to the velour part of the strap to prevent accidental damage to the knitted fabric.
2. Grasp the lower edge of the bandage and pull it over your hand. Guide your thumb through the thumb opening and your fingers through the large finger opening. The support must fit snugly against the palm of your hand.
3. Guide the stabilising strap around the wrist and close it. If necessary, adjust the fit and make sure that the notch is positioned exactly over the styloid process on the distal forearm (near the hand).
4. If you have removed the stabilisation strap of the Cellacare® Manus Comfort, reattach it as follows: The white mark on the wide side of the strap must lie exactly next to the white square on the knitted fabric without covering it. The belt is then in the correct position.
5. Removing and reinserting the removable splint: Pay attention to the marking (L&R logo) when reinserting the splint into the support: This marking must be legible when the product is spread out flat.

Care recommendation: Wash the support at 30 °C (gentle cycle) with similar colours. Do not use bleach. Allow Cellacare® Manus Comfort to air dry away from heat sources; do not tumble dry. Do not iron or dry clean. Close the Velcro fastener and use a laundry net if possible. Clean the Velcro fastener of the strap regularly to ensure that it retains its adhesive properties and to ensure the effectiveness of the product.
