• Wrinkles: Wrinkles are a natural part of our faces. As we get older, the collagen and elastin fibres break down. The skin becomes less elastic, drier and more prone to wrinkling. Wrinkles appear as laugh lines, forehead lines, nasolabial folds, lines at the corners of the mouth, crow’s feet or in other forms.
• Spots and acne: Acne and the typical skin blemishes associated with it occur in the majority of those affected during puberty. A sudden surge in male hormones, which is common during this stage of life, stimulates the skin’s sebaceous glands to produce large amounts of oil. In this context, the so-called androgens are particularly significant. These male sex hormones are secreted in greater quantities with the onset of puberty in both young men and girls. The sebaceous glands react to this temporary hormonal imbalance by producing hard sebum, which thickens the natural sebum and blocks the pores. • Collagen: Collagen supports the connective tissue, moisturises the skin and regenerates the structural proteins that bind skin cells together.
• Glycolic acid and minerals: Glycolic acid helps remove damaged and dead skin cells, acts as an exfoliant, and stimulates the regeneration of skin layers, thereby eliminating wrinkles and blemishes and cleansing the pores.
• Vitamins A, C and E: Vitamin A accelerates the regeneration of skin cells, removes dead skin layers, combats freckles, blemishes and acne, leaving the skin radiant and smooth. Vitamin C is a water-soluble antioxidant; it protects the skin from harsh external influences, regenerates other antioxidants, and stimulates the synthesis of collagen and elastin, as well as regeneration and wound healing.
