The Canina® PETVITAL® Bio-Insect-Shocker offers reliable protection. It is a biological pest control product for use on animals, designed to combat ticks, fleas, lice, hair lice and mites.

Mode of action

PETVITAL® BIO-INSECT-SHOCKER is a so-called repellent (from the English ‘to repel’ = to drive away) on a biological basis, which effectively repels common ectoparasites (external parasites) from the animal’s surroundings after just the first application, preventing any eggs or nits from becoming established there, Flea eggs and nits can also be washed out of the affected animal’s coat immediately using Canina’s PETVITAL® VERMINEX SHAMPOO.

Directions for use

• Depending on the severity of the infestation, spray the areas affected by pests sparingly every 2–4 weeks. In cases of very severe infestation, spray PETVITAL® BIO-INSECT-SHOCKER for three consecutive days, followed by once a week for 4 weeks. Pay particular attention to the pet’s sleeping and resting areas (e.g. cages).
• Notes: If swallowed: If large quantities are ingested, drink plenty of water. Do not use near the eyes.
• Hazard warnings: Disposal: Take any remaining product to a collection point for household chemicals. Only place the packaging in the recycling bin once it is completely empty. To avoid environmental impact, use the product only where necessary. Classification according to EC Regulation 1272/2008: Eye damage, hazard category 1 – classification threshold 1–3% of the total ingredients. H-statements: H319: Causes serious eye damage. P-phrases: P280: Wear protective gloves/eye protection. P305+351+338: After contact with eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove any contact lenses. Continue rinsing. Composition: Dodecanoic acid (naturally occurring in coconut oil), margosa extract (naturally occurring in the seeds of the neem tree). 15 g/litre margosa extract, 15 g/litre dodecanoic acid.
